- DoubleTree JB Executive Lounge Review
The Executive Lounge was located at the 29 floor of the hotel. It was beautiful with high ceiling and several nice paintings. It was also spacious and had a boardroom for special occasion or meeting.
DoubleTree JB Executive Lounge – Evening Cocktail
Daily evening cocktail were offered between 6pm-8pm serving alcohol, red wine and sparkling wine with some food.
As a Diamond member, we had access to the Executive Lounge. When I was a Gold member previously, I was always granted lounge access too even though Honor’s policy stated clearly that it’s not a guaranteed access.
We were surprised with the food offering here. One could have easily sorted dinner here by eating a couple more sandwich and rice.
Some nice looking tarts and cakes for the sweet tooth.
We thought these were humus and got excited only to realize that it was just thousand island sauce.
We tried most of the food offered here. Our favorite is the Mini Korean Chicken Burger. The chocolate tart hit the spot too!
DoubleTree JB Executive Lounge – Daytime
During the day, the lounge was a quiet place. We had a black coffee during breakfast and wanted to have another shot of caffeine before we leave. We went up to the lounge. There were only a few guests there and it was pretty quiet. One could have sat there and read a book peacefully.
Coffee, tea and soft drinks were offered all day together with some snacks. Most properties would offer cookies and crackers.
DoubleTree JB Executive Lounge – Overall Impression
The Hilton Executive Lounge was nice, folks we interacted with were chatty. The evening cocktail were crowded during our stay and the Hilton managed it pretty well with quick turnaround of freshly made food. No complains for a 10,000 Hilton Honor points redemption here.

[Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru] The executive lounge at 29th floor serves daily cocktail from 6pm. It was pretty crowded when we were there. We like the pretzel bread and mini chicken burger. It's also a cosy place to admire sunset during a good day. We were there on a rainy day though.
Did you enjoy your lounge access when visiting this Hilton property?
